“How Can I Keep From Singing?”

Friday January 19, 2007, 7:30 p.m., Asbury First United Methodist Church

Sunday January 21, 2007, 3:00 p.m., Pittsford Presbyterian Church

The program, named after a Shaker hymn, showcases the group’s versatility with sacred and secular repertoire by classical composers Bach, Arcadelt and Debussy as well as contemporary work by Gwyneth Walker, Katherine Dienes and Ramona Luengen. A stunning setting of the “Magnificat,” by Z. Randall Stroope, scored for chorus and piano-four hands is a special feature.
